Financial Perspective

  • Ensuring transactions are processed and settled on a daily basis.
  • Reconciliation of reports and payments made to retailers
  • Approve all SOX control forms submitted
  • Ensuring all rejected Transactions are resolved and settled.

Customer Perspective

  • Manage card related queries raised by card customers.
  • Manage Bank Alliances support and recons.
  • Manage changes of Retailer and New installation of FlexiLANE system at retail sites.
  • Share Loyalty pricing with Loyalty Partner and Astron Energy Management.

Internal Processes

  • Maintain Master Data Maintenance
  • Submit Alliance Recons
  • SAP ERP Error resolution.
  • Manage Loyalty profile and update merchant table
  • Setup of discounts for star card customers.

People Management

  • Establish good relationships with all internal and external stakeholders involved in the star card process from start to finish
  • Manage card process with external parties, Bank alliances and Vendors

Professional Qualification and Certifications: A tertiary qualification in Commerce or Business Science is required

Work Experience: The incumbent will need to have at least 5-7 years’ experience in Card payment systems.  

Knowledge and skills: The role requires a deep understanding of the fuels industry regulations, the drivers of consumer behaviour, knowledge of Card payment systems, loyalty partnerships and the commercial and operational drivers of payment systems. Knowledge of the SAP ERP system is required.

An understanding of the integrated enterprise value chain is required as well as a sound knowledge of pricing strategy/tactics/models
