OPERATIONS MANAGER (Port Elizabeth)

 


Qualifications / Skills

• MUST have at least 10 years PROVEN ICT industry technical and management experience
• MUST have a tertiary qualification
• MUST have an A+ and N+ certification
• MUST have solid Networking Experience
• MUST have solid Server Experience
• Forti Firewall Experience highly beneficial
• Software Development Experience will be beneficial

Responsibilities

• Manage, develop and supervise direct report staff;
• Supervise and direct the operations of open Tickets on the Helpdesk System for direct report staff;
• Service maintenance contracts that the company enters into with its clients;
• Service, repair and perform fault finding on all Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) Equipment;
• Assist Software Team with Software Development;
• Provide clients with Network, Server and Desktop support for hardware, software and networking;
• Protect specific Customers networks against attacks from outside sources;
• Monitor specific Network and Server performance issues at specific customers;
• Sell the Company’s products and services;
• Assist in recruiting new clients;
• Execute any other reasonable instruction given.

Salary: Market Related – negotiable.
