Job Description

Multi Green (Pty) Ltd is a fertilizer mixing plant in Villiers in the Eastern Free State, partly owned by VKB Landbou (Pty) Ltd since 2019. Since 2005 Multi Green specializes in the precision mixing and distribution of liquid as well as granular fertilizer. The company is well established and well known in the farming community and the fertilizer sector.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible to accurately do yield and production calculations for Multi Green. Provides production/financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data and preparing reports.

REQUIREMENTS

• B. Com degree with Cost Accounting
• Completed Articles
• CIMA qualification will serve as recommendation
• 3 years’ relevant experience within the cost accounting field

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement and develop a costing system
• Maintain costing records
• Project costing
• Generate costing reports
• Develop and maintain costing models
• Monitor purchase price variance
• Stock evaluation at month-end
• Assist in the budget and forecast process with pricing structures
• Assist with stock counts
• Compile monthly management reports

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Strong analytical, numeracy and interpersonal skills
• Good computer literacy, with the ability to function at an advanced level in Excel
• Ability to function independently, as well as in a team
• Accept responsibility
